Dry fats

Fats with their gross energy content of approx. 39 MJ/kg are the most important energy store and energy supplier for the feeding of farmed animals. Their energy density is more than twice the one found in proteins and carbohydrates (17.2 MJ/ kg). Dry fats are stable on storage and are easy to handle. The special properties of our dry fats allows their use in energy-rich rations for high-yielding cows.
